New Additions To My Make-Up Bag

charlotte tilbury Produkte

Before leaving London, I had a spendy moment. Maybe more than just one. I decided to treat myself (again) with a few make up bits and pieces and I am really, really happy with what I bought!
Here is a overview of my new sweet belongings:

urban decay naked 3 palette

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (£38)

I was craving this beauty since it came out. I never really fancied the other two palettes because they seemed a bit boring to me, in fact I already own enough nude eyeshadows. The 12 pinky shades come in a really nice-looking rose gold packaging which seems to be really solid. The palette also contains four primers (Original, Eden, Sin & Anti-Aging) and a double-ended shadow/blending brush. Really convenient is as well the mirror in the palette.
I can't wait to create a lot of different make-up looks for the day and even night (hello, Blackheart).

sleek konturpalette

Sleek Contour Kit (£5,99)

When I was looking for a new foundation I stumbled across the Sleek Contour Kit and after swatching it, I took the medium version home with me. I'm a bit pale at the moment so I probably need to blend it in a bit more, but all in all it works for me quite well!
So far I have only been using bronzer to add a bit of glow to my face. I am quite excited about using a proper contouring shade, however, I definitely need to catch up on some tutorials first!

laura mercier foundation primer

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (£29)

I was so lucky to receive this primer with my Birchbox in August (they had an offer going on!) and I couldn't wait to try it out. The primer itself is a gel which irritated me in the first place, but after applying it, I was impressed how lovely it felt on my skin. Even after putting on foundation it didn't feel too heavy or greasy. Nevertheless it costs about £30, which is a lot for a primer. I'd recommend to first try it out at the till, if possible. Since every skin is different it might feel different on yours.

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Smudger Brush (£25)

My - rather small - brush collection has a new pal. After trying the Smudger Brush out at the Charlotte Tilbury till in Selfridges, it was literally begging me to come home with me. How was I even supposed to say no?
With it's round shape the brush is perfect to great a deep smokey eye and you are able to really blend your eyeshadow out. Another plus is the beautiful design. I'm such a sucker when it comes to rose gold stuff!
